Tupesy ceramics
Maiolica – hand painted ceramics with typical colourful designs, was at the birth of a great fame of ceramics. Big clay recourses with the right chemical composition in the municipality and its neighbourhood are essential, but a success always needs more than mere recourses – in case of ceramic it means „malérečky“. They were local talented women, which were manually painting various colourful and specific designs on the ceramics with paintbrush.
