Visit a brewery, where a legend Pilsner Urquell was born. Come and see the Plzeňský Prazdroj, belonging among unique industrial monuments, which is proved with its including in a prestige network ERIH (Europen Route of Industrial Heritage). Sightseeing in Pilsner Urquell is open every day. During it, visitors are introduced to history and secret of the legendary lager Pilsner Urquell production, authentic areas of the brewery, where beer have been brewed since 1842, excursion in modern bottle plant, unique exhibition of raw materials or both historical and contemporary brew house. The inseparable crowning of the tour is a visit of historical brewery cellars, with a tasting of unfiltered and unpasteurized beer, drawn right from oak lager barrels (for up 18 years of age only). We recommend to end the tour in a theme environment of restaurant Na Spilce, where traditional Czech cuisine and excellent beer from a beer list of brewery Plzeňský Prazdroj are offered. The restaurant is located in former ferment cellar, so-called spilka, and is with its capacity of 550 seats the biggest pub in Bohemia. If the weather allows, you can sit also in a garden restaurant on an yard of the brewery, which is open since April till September. Gift shop is located right on the brewery yard. Visit also Brewery Museum, which guards a legend of beer and brewing. An original brewery house from the 15th century, where the museum is located, breathes with a medieval atmosphere and reveals a secret of production, serving and drinking beer since ages long time passed.
