The Kozákov Mountain used to be a volcano, then a beach, and then a furious volcano again, and since then, Bohemian Paradise is connected with a little red stone – the garnet. A gem, shining with colours from fiery up to blood red, captivate you with its subtlety and originality. A medieval tradition of the jewellery craft survived till these days, and was complemented with remarkable products of tiny glass pearls, which became foundations for the jewellery of Jablonec. Thanks to the modern processing of garnet and glass, executed by top Czech jewellery makers and designers, the Czech jewellery production keeps its fame in around the world.
